Description
English: 1899 cartoon. "Adam & Eve" theme. Nude Eve with banner reading "Miss Louisiana Eve" with Adam fully clothed in male fashion of 1899. On the ground are round fruit labeled "Banana" "Tobacco" "Cracker" "Beer" "Sugar". Eve reaches up to fruit labeled "Telephone"; it is one of several fruit still on the tree, others are labeled "Banks" and "Insurance".

Original caption:
TRUSTS - ARE THE ORIGINAL SIN.
Adam: "No thank you, my dear Eve, I don't want any more of that fruit. After I ate that last apple I had to put on these horrible clothes."
Eve: "Trust me, dear Adam; I'm sure you'll find this one very nice."
Adam: "You said that before, and I trusted you, only to find that Trust to be original sin."

Notes: Cartoon is against "Trusts" (business monopoly or collusion), punning on different meanings of the term "Trust".
